Beyond SkylineFor “Beyond Skyline” I was tasked with creating 6 alien suits, some weapons and other various effects. The performers needed to be 7 feet tall, have extended arms, LED eyes, mechanical fingers, and survive extensive fight scenes. The Shepard Alien flying her ship. We provided a hero and stunt version of this suit. The Pilot alien. We made 4 of this behemoth character, nearly 8 feet tall. The "power claw". We made 3 sizes of these and in this case we hand-sculpted them instead of 3-d printing. The Shepard and Pilot aliens fight it out. We painted this suit with extra intense colors, knowing it would be filmed in the dark. After the human legs were removed. The pracitcal alien suit in front of a giant CGI creation.
